On the Methodology of Metaphysics - Z metodologii metafizyki

Książka ukazuje się w dwujęzycznej polsko-angielskiej serii wydawniczej prezentującej dorobek Filozoficznej Szkoły Lubelskiej. Jednym z osiągnięć Szkoły jest opracowanie nowoczesnej wersji metafizyki realistycznej oraz ukazanie specyfiki wyjaśniania metafizycznego na tle innych nauk. Książka ks. Stanisława Kamińskiego jest zbiorem artykułów na temat metodologii metafizyki. Na zbiór ten składa się pięć artykułów. Pierwszy ukazuje teorię bytu (metafizyki) w kontekście innych dyscyplin filozoficznych. W drugim Autor omawia dziedziny teorii bytu, w trzecim charakteryzuje język teorii bytu. W czwartym ukazuje specyfikę wyjaśniania w metafizyce, zaś w piątym osobliwość metodologiczną teorii bytu. Teksty te mogą stanowić nieocenione źródło inspiracji dla współczesnych dociekań logicznych i metodologicznych, ponadto stanowią podstawę rozumienia metafizyki, bez której nie ma filozofii jako takiej, i bez której trudno wyobrazić sobie autentyczną kulturę filozoficzną.

The book appears in a bilingual Polish-English publishing series presenting the achievements of the Philosophical School of Lublin. One of the School’s achievements is the development of a modern version of realistic metaphysics and the presentation of the specificity of metaphysical explanation in the light of other sciences. Book of rev. prof. Stanisław Kamiński is a collection of articles on the methodology of metaphysics. This collection consists of five articles. The first shows the theory of being (metaphysics) in the context of other philosophical disciplines. In the second article, the author discusses the domains of the theory of being, in the third he describes the language of the theory of being. In the fourth article he shows the specificity of explaining in metaphysics, while in the fifth he specifies the methodological peculiarity of the theory of being. These texts can be an invaluable source of inspiration for contemporary logical and methodological inquiries, moreover, they form the basis for understanding metaphysics, without which there is no philosophy as such, and without which it is difficult to imagine an authentic philosophical culture.
